I wish I had something profound to say or share for Thanksgiving.
I’m just trying to stay focused on what I am thankful for this year. Here are a few:
1. My beautiful daughter, of course.
2. Some great friends and family to share the day with.
3. Election victories.
4. New blogosphere friends.
Of course, there are many more fundamental things I am thankful for, as well, such as my health, food on the table, and not having any family members fighting in Iraq.
So, time to leave the computer alone for the rest of the day, cook the bird and finish watching the parade with Rachel.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Good Luck cooking a turkey! Luckily for me, we arrived home late yesterday from our trip. This allowed me to politely bow out of our yearly family reunion and my responsibilities of cooking! I hope you have a great day!
