Yes, I’ve been posting more than normal today because tomorrow morning I leave for a three-day weekend ALONE!
Well, not entirely alone, but sans Rachel and her dad.
I’ll be sitting in conference rooms with several hundred of my closest friends at the Nieman Conference on Narrative Journalism in Beantown.
Hopefully, I’ll come back inspired, refreshed and ready for more punditry!

Hi Pundit mom! We exchanged cards at the conference (I can’t remember which session — rats or I’d remind you) and I wish I’d had more time to talk to you because it looks like we might have had a lot to talk about!!! PLEASE think about submitting an op-ed to me — I really want to start updating more often and I just don’t get enough good stuff to do that (so tell your friends, too!)

three days alone!
Was it everything you thought it would be?

It was great! If you ever have a chance to go, it’s a wonderful conference.
Dawn, it was great to meet you. I’m glad we ran into each other again after our first meeting!
As for three days alone, most of it was spent sitting in conference rooms, but the sessions were great. And I must admit, having the hotel room to myself without sharing the bathroom or having to search for the Cartoon Network on the TV was great!

Narrative journalism? SOUNDS COOL! You’ll report back, right?
