…. or does it seem like no matter what we Democrats do, we’re always shooting ourselves in the political foot?
Check out these stories over at The Huffington Post – Hillary is steaming about questions she is getting about her relationship with Bill and the territorial in-fighting over which Dem the Hollywood money is going to this time around has ratcheted up.
Even with the Iraq mess and the Scooter Libby trial (not to mention that I’m sure Republican strategists are hoping we’re more interested in tuning into the whole Anna Nicole fiasco than real news), the G.O.P. must be giggling like a little girl at the prospect of the Democratic candidates imploding before the 2008 campaign even gets off the ground.
That, in combination with the Bush family’s imprimatur firmly with (go figure) Mitt Romney, I am afraid the stealth campaign to keep the White House in conservative shades of red is firmly underway.
Can I get a call into Rahm Emanuel before things reall slip away from the Democrats again?

Gee, it does seem silly but face it the infighting with the GOP is just as bad. But they don’t have as many Hollywood types to make things sillier.
Since Hillary isn’t electable anyway (too many Americans hate her), it’s either Barack or Edwards. But it’s no secret what a control freak she is.

Two words. Pace yourself.
Life is long, but campaigns are longer.

I’ve been voting Democrat since 1976 but can’t stomach the idea of another Clinton presidency. I’ll vote for a damn republican if the wicked witch from new york is the nominee.

Yes, some power players seem to have a knack for focusing more on securing their post in the party than on winning the election.

Not to worry, PM. It is still early days, yet. The Democrat that will win the party’s nomination hasn’t entered the race yet.
