As one of my blog pals very kindly pointed out to me a few weeks ago, the Democratic race isn’t just about Hillary and Barack.
Sure, they’re the ones getting most of the media hype at the moment. But, as a result, some good ideas from other candidates aren’t getting much attention.
Take some time to check out the progressive idea Senator Chris Dodd would implement if he’s elected President — that’s my topic today over at PunditMom’s Spin Cycle!

It’s too bad that we are a few years away from the science to meld all of the candidates together and form a giant democrat candidate behemoth with a plethora of great ideas that please everyone. WHen will science catch up to my thoughts?

Dodd is on to something there… but to tell you the truth, I don’t think you can win a campaign on Community Service initiatives.
I don’t really think that this election is going to turn on who has the best ideas about the war. There are no good ideas, they all suck to varying degress.
I think this election will turn on who can make the electorate feel more optimistic about the future of the country.
Personally, I wish that person was going to be Dennis Kucinich… I suppose that since he has no chance in hell at the nomination he can afford to be courageous and say the things that need saying.
