When I was in high school, I ALWAYS wanted to be popular. But I ALWAYS fell into that middle nether world of not quite a cheerleader but not in the geek squad, either.
It was a comfortable enough place to be — didn’t have the pressure of performing at football games on Friday nights and didn’t get excessively picked on by the cool kids.
Apparently that has all changed.
At least in the world of Twitter.
Yesterday, my E-mail inbox was filled with love from “the candidates” — Hillary5, Barack4, JE54. Even the Republicans want me at their party!
Who knew that all it would take to gain a little popularity in this world would be a Twitter account and a little punditry!

I just wish someone would tell me how to get off of John Kerry’s mailing list. Ever since he voted for the renewal of the Patriot Act, I’ve been trying to block him and the emails just keep coming… Oy.

I know what you mean. I feel like I’m being stalked by Joe Trippi.

I feel slighted. Only Obama and Edwards have come a-calling. But now that I know that you’re on Twitter I’ll come looking for you too.
Happy Thanksgiving!
