It was only “imprudent curiosity” of low-level contract State Department employees who accessed Barack Obama’s confidential passport file.
Three separate times. Over the last three months.
At the height of the primary election season.
And the State Department just found out about it today.
Wasn’t it just a few weeks ago when a McCain campaign official said that if Obama turned out to be the Democratic nominee, he’d resign?
He wouldn’t say why.
Coincidence? I think not.
Sometimes if it looks like a conspiracy and smells like a conspiracy, it really is a conspiracy.
If only Richard Nixon was still alive to exercise some ’70s-style punditry.

This should be very interesting.

I’m rather infuriated by these “low-level contract employees”. What the hell? Do these people really think they can abuse the privileges they have and get away with it? Ugh.

Grr… the system is so broke!!! McCain’s slip-ups are starting to mimic the current President… and the whole “low-level contract employees” curiosity play is too much. Why do these low-level employees even have access to these files? Hell, what are they doing with MY passport information? I work for the Feds and this stuff just pisses me off!

Low-level employees have that kind of access? I just applied for a new passport; I’m glad I’m not running for office!
