Yes, the day has finally arrived!
THE KITCHEN IS FINISHED!!
OK, there are still a few things to be tweaked, but I figured it will NEVER look this clean and Better Homes & Gardens again, so for posterity’s sake, I present to you — my dream kitchen!

I’m asparagus green with envy.
I’m currently collecting multiple contractor bids on (gulp) about $55,000 worth of construction we’re doing start mid-May. And sadly, none of it is as awesome as getting a new kitchen!!
I’m gonna go cry now.

It’s divine. I still have plywood countertops…hopefully our concrete replacements will arrive before the baby.

Nice kitchen. Some day, I will have a new kitchen. Someday I will have heat, and a new foundation. Someday, someday…In the meantime I’ll expect to spend a lot of time here looking at your new kitchen. sigh.

Oooh I’m artichoke green with envy (I hate asparagus…) The white cabinets you picked out are EXACTLY the kind I want. We need a new kitchen badly too but we did just do our bathroom. Perhaps someday (sigh) and then I’ll have to get the name of your contractor.
