I wish I’d been blogging when the kids were little. My mother-in-law used to tell me to write stuff down because I’d forget, but of course I didn’t, and yes, I’ve forgotten. It’s stuff like this that’s so fun.
That reminds me of my daughter’s first February in preschool when she learned all about “Hammerman Lincoln” and “how the King was shot dead in a park”.
Precious moments we should never forget. Only from the mouths of innocent children.
We took our five year old grandson to the Niagara Falls aquarium this week end and the reactions were wonderful. If only all the world could love children and learn to enjoy the great moments they give parents and grandparents like me.
So….her semantics were slightly off….but the idea is there!
Your child is quoting the works of Da Vinci and my four year old is singing the lyrics of “Low” from the radio! I MAY need to expose him to some culture!
