Well, to be exact, I grew up on a farm near a small town. At the time, it’s population was about 2,000. And, yes, I’m the head of the PTA this year, but I’m not ready to stare down Putin.
Not to mention a $700 trillion dollar bailout and extensive FBI fraud investigation of why we’re in this mess.
Thanks to Mir for tweeting about this video! I thought I was getting over my little stomach bug this morning, but after this, I’m not so sure.

This potential bailout, coupled with the chance of McCain/Palin winning does not paint a rosy picture of our nation’s future. Things are either going to end up crumbling fantastically or being slightly worse than they currently are. Which candidate has a plan to virtually reinvent America? This election is not a time to “stay the course” with a man who is highly reactionary, we need well thought out ideas and new processes to achieve new results.

None of the current happenings with our economy/world issues make me happy. Do I trust either candidate? NO. Am I ready for change? YES. However, unless and until I’m given some real reason to vote for either candidate, I’m an onlooker.
The veep candidate is a NON issue. For democrats to make the woman on the republican side and issue is just blantantly wrong. Biden is no saint, and honestly I’m looking for him to back out.
Bottom line, no one is perfect. NOT one single one of us. Let alone the ‘POLITICIANS’ we have proposed for the elections.
Its time that people stop and think for themselves, listen to the issues and pass on the silliness of such blatant propoganda. Do you not see the rest of the world watching the travesty that such video’s and statements have made of our system?
Since you have the ear of Obama, please tell him to start showing some of that “integrity” he’s always pandering, stop with the crap attacks on the other side and get to the meat of the discussion. Don’t give me more government, give me better government, trim the fat from the give away programs, don’t give me more give away programs, don’t cause me to pay trickle down taxes by overtaxing large corporations, give me flat taxes. I’ve sent the letter to both sides, I’ve gotten response from the repubs. From the dems…nada. Wonder why?

Yikes. This was a very slanted view and to me – clearly not something that would ever be aimed at a male candidate.
And let me make this clear – I wouldn’t vote for McCain/Palin even if I was staring down the muzzle of a gun (or Putin), but this is scare tactic crap that has nothing to do with reality.
The reality is that no one has “stared down Putin” or is likely to do much but subtly pressure and more likely appease the guy.
No one has found Bin Laden – no man anyway – than I am aware of and the one time we were offered the guy, the Clinton admin turned it down.
Nobody in the West really gets the Israeli/Palestinian thing because we don’t try to hard to do so. That has history going back to the early Zionist movement and the politics that lead to the UN making a new country out of an existing one without the native populations assent (old testament aside here this mess goes back a long ways and there are no innocent parties just a lot of collateral damage). But if I can read up and figure this out, so can Palin. She doesn’t look stupid. In fact she comes across as a fast learner. Of things that make shudder mostly – but stupid? No.
And what really galled me was the idea that you have to be a world traveller to have any inkling of the world and its people.
The first time I left the U.S. was to move to Canada. That’s it folks. So, am I a hick provincial?
I have friends all over the world as a result of my blogging. I taught ESL back in Iowa to kids from Sudan, Russia, Mexico, Honduras, Bosnia, Pakistan and Vietnam.
Does one really need to play tourist on foreign soil to be considered knowledgeable about the world?
This video really incensed me.
