Not All Women Candidates are Created Equal

Moms & Politics

I’m taking a little break here today, but that doesn’t mean I’m taking a a day off from punditry!

I’ve written a piece on one of my favorites — Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann — over at the Women’s Media Center called Stepping Over the Line.

Of course, there are lots of other women political candidates who are more to my liking! And I got to spend a half hour talking about them with Ilana Goldman, the President of the Women’s Campaign Forum on my first episode of PunditMom Radio!

If you didn’t get to hear it, no worries — it’s still there!

One other thing. I’m noticing that some of my friends around the blogosphere who claim theyr= aren’t political need to re-think whether they are or not. Self-Made Mom has some interesting thoughts on Hillary Clinton (yes we can still talk about her) at her Work It Mom! blog and Mothergoosemouse is finding common ground with Gloria Steinem.

I love it when moms go all political!

Now, off to finish up my pre-Halloween outfit making duties!

Loved your " Stepping Over the Line"

I'm not voting for another person ever who resorts to ugly lies or misleading innuendo in a campaign.

I wrote about it on my blog in a piece called,

    Dignity & Courage

I followed you from Jen Lemen, glad I clicked in today.
