It’s hard to get going on some Monday mornings — getting the kids off to school is sometimes tough after the weekend. Plus, since we’re only a couple of weeks from the holidays, it’s hard to shake that ‘I’ll-never-be-ready’ sense of dread.
So as a little distraction, here are a few other things to think about:
The Supreme Court says it won’t hear the case questioning Barack Obama’s citizenship status.
Caroline Kennedy is apparently more than a little interested in Hillary Clinton’s Senate seat, or at least her family wants her to be.
Will the current economic crisis change the attitudes of Generation Y toward the work place?
Thank goodness Barack Obama isn’t perfect. I know a lot of people thought he was, but it’s good to know he’s human just like the rest of us!!

We didn’t vote for him because we think he’s perfect. Who cares if he smokes… God, Fox News, get over it!

what a course of things on your buffet this morning!!!
As for the smoking? If this is the *worst* thing he does in his tenure(s), we have a LOT to be grateful for. Think about what he has taken on, a thankless war that has the public furious, an economy that has sunk below anything I’ve seen, terrorists everywhere, no jobs, college education not worth much and outrageously expensive to list a few….and they are worried that he had a few cigarettes? Somebody get a grip and take a look at what he PLANS TO DO ABOUT SERIOUS ISSUES.
All 3 of my kids are Gen Y and they are not what is pictured. They all expect little except to be able to get an education, get a job and be productive citizens. I am thankful that all 3 of them are learning how to live within their means and make do with what they have. The Gimme Kids won’t change until their parents or employers quit handing out to them. I think they will not have a choice about changing, considering how many jobs have been lost in the last month. When it comes to a question of eating and living indoors…they will change.
