Lots of good stuff this morning!
Sarah Palin is getting testier in an interview with Esquire magazine about those of us she calls “bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers who lie.” Just when you thought you were out, she pulls you back in!
Confirmation hearings are getting underway this morning for Attorney General nominee Eric Holder and Homeland Security Secretary-designate Janet Napolitano.
Treasury Secretary- designee Timothy Geithner’s “innocent” tax mistakes are more extensive than first thought. My favorite — he deducted his kids’ summer camp costs as child care expenses, even after being advised he couldn’t.
Six reasons why ensuring fair pay is still important.
I’m glad the Wonkess can explain all this economic stuff to me.
One columnist thinks Obama supporters are “creepy.” Really? What do you think?
And Capitol Hill Cats might become my new favorite show!

“Palin empathizers say the Alaska governor is merely trying to recover her good name after months of damage by the mainstream media:”
oh pluuzzzeee…..if she .really. wanted to recover her good name she might want to address the serious problems in her state.
the rural resdients of her state are choosing between food and heat. If she would attend to that, it would make a far greater impact on her good name than running after the press telling them they are being mean to her. When I hear someone working so hard to defend themselves it really makes me wonder why. As a VP she would have been under a microscope and would have needed to be far more comfortable with criticism than she seems to be.
And as for her daughter and almost-son-in-law, if Bristol and Levi are really working their butts off (and honestly, I don’t know if they are or are not), then keeping quiet till there is something to show and tell THEN pointing out to the media how wrong they were might shut them up next time.
