		<description>I do hope that we make some progress in this area during this administration.  It&#039;s astonishing that women get 6-8 weeks off for maternity leave when most other countries get at least 3 months.  Men could never understand how hard it is to recover from a pregnancy/delivery and maintain the household while getting used to caring for a child.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;On the white house site, it states what their proposals for expanding FLMA are and it&#039;s a good first step.  &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Some people argue that it&#039;s unfair to people that choose not to have children.  I think that&#039;s a hollow argument... I don&#039;t think it&#039;s fair that some people get extra breaks at work because they smoke. :D</description>

The first integrated students may have been met with guns and bad attitudes, but now it&#039;s not even questioned. Most important civil rights battles have first been won in the court and in our laws, and eventually, the shame does follow.</description>
