It’s no secret that I love to take pictures and that I’m totally in love with my camera and Eye-Fi (no, they have NOT paid me to say that, but we could talk)!
So, I figured it was time to learn a little but about all the bells and whistles on this fancy-schmancy camera, so I took a quick class this week on learning how to use many of the features. I decided to get a little artsy while I was at it.
The first commenter who can correctly guess where I took this photo will win an autographed copy of Maggie Mason’s No One Cares What You Had for Lunch (from my personal collection)!

I have the book so I won’t guess and ruin it but I think I know…
Eye-fi is pretty great, isn’t it? I’m writing about it soon on BlogHer I think. I’m glad you took the class – looking forward to seeing more of your shots.

Nick, I guess I’m going to have to make it harder next time, but you’re right! E-mail me you info and I’ll send the book if you’d like it!
Sorry, Jodi! (I knew you would guess it, though!)

Well Pundit Mom my trip to Washington is now off. I was trying to attend NECC a cool geeky confereence for computer teachers in Washington DC. However, my husbands health has been plagued by headaches causing him to miss a lot of work. Last week they let him go-so even if his health improves the funds won’t be there.
So I will continue to follow you over the net. My fellow techee teacher will descend upon your city June 28th.
For now I will enjoy Washington through your camera lense!
as an aside-is it my imagination or is Cheney setting up shop across the river acting like he is the head of a deposed governent? Perhaps he watched too many reruns of the show “24 hours” He he is no Jack Bauer.
