I know this photo is similar to last week’s, but I’m so drawn to the late afternoon light that streams through our little used dining room. There’s something about the way the sun shines through the shades at this low angle and hits my amber-colored bowl, that I just have to keep coming back to this.
I hope you’ll bear with me until I find just the right combination of light, shadow and inspiration!

I love this — all of it. the light, shadow, color, reflection. It's beautiful. No need to hunt down inspiration, it's in front of you.
(though I do understand the frustration of not quite seeing what it is your mind sees…)

Lovely. Have you played with GIMP it is a free photo edit software similar to photoshop.Here are some samples my 7th graders did using GIMP. With your wonderful camera you will love this software
