A friend forwarded this video in connection with some research she’s doing for PunditGirl’s school. The information is truly amazing, and makes me think about how when I graduated from law school 20 years ago, I thought I knew the world as it was going to be for much of my life.

Mind boggling. It's no wonder we're all stressed out. I've been making a conscious effort lately to unplug from everything – phones, computers, stereos, etc. for a while and just be in the world. It’s taken a fair amount of discipline to be comfortable in my solitude which is kind of funny but such a testament to our lives today.
