Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi on health care reform:

But we are going to get health care reform passed for the American people for their own personal health and economic security and for the important role that it will play in reducing the deficit.”
Thanks to my friend Mike Kruger on the staff of the House Committee on Education & Labor for giving me the head’s up on this great quote. I feel a tiny bit more confident that those who need health care won’t be left out in the cold.
