So Much Punditry, So Little Time

I’m glad there are some other people weighing in on some topics on my mind:

–My fellow MOMocrats and I are having a little Super Bowl Party Tailgate Party for Choice.

– The Women’s Media Center is also thinking about the controversial Super Bowl from Focus on the Family and is wondering, what does CBS stand for?

– Isn’t it about time there’s a woman anchor for a major Sunday morning news show?

– The recently released Three Faces of Work/Family Conflict report doesn’t paint a pretty picture.  When I asked an expert on the “motherhood penalty” whether either of us would live long enough to see things change for women in the workplace, she replied without missing a beat, “No.”  :(

I’d like to see more female anchors. I’d also like to see more ordinary-looking anchors. The lookism double standard still bothers me. A male on air personality can be plain looking, but not a female.
