Are Women Losing the Cable Punditry Wars?

It was supposed to be good news for women political analysts and pundits when long-time journalist Mika Brzezinski joined Joe Scarborough as a full-fledged co-anchor, bringing a much needed dose of estrogen to a morning show where testosterone of mostly white males reigned.

And when CNN announced that Pulitzer Prize winner Kathleen Parker was going to headline an evening political roundtable, even though it was with disgraced New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, I thought maybe women were finally making a little headway.

It looks like I was wrong.  That’s what I’m shaking my head about today over at Politics Daily and Woman Up!
