How Are You Managing at Midlife?

Mothers of Intention

As I get ready for the release of Mothers of Intention: How Women and Social Media are Revolutionizing Politics in America, I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about my next Pundit chapter.

Having a book published has been a longtime dream of mine, and it took me a while to find my way to the right project at the right time.  Even as I’m feeling overwhelmed with the whole marketing and promotion aspect of author-hood, I’m also thinking of how to take things to the next level.  Does that mean another book?  A new enterprise?  Business partners?

There was a time when I thought I had my whole life figured out.  Turns out, it’s been nothing that I thought it would be.  And that’s what She Writes founder Kamy Wicoff asked me to write about this week the blogging community with thousands of woman writers.

So, are you rethinking things at midlife?  If so, is it a major course correction or just a matter of choosing which fork in the road is the right one? If you’ve got something to say about that, head over to She Writes and see what other women are saying, as well.
