Sorry things have been so quiet here — I’ve been working my tail off to get ready for the launch (TA-DA!) of Mothers of Intention: How Women and Social Media are Revolutionizing Politics in America!!
I saw the actual book this week when I had my first signing at Book Expo America, thanks to the wonderful printer of my book, BookMasters. They were wonderful hosts at their BEA booth and did a great job telling people in advance of the signing and corralling conference goers as they walked by my signing table!
And while I am obviously biased, the book is pretty beautiful, both inside and out — if I do say so myself!
Also, could I ask all my wonderful readers for a favor that will help with promoting the book, which includes the writing of over 50 fabulous bloggers of all political persuasions? Circle of Moms is hosting a Top 25 Political Mom contest and I’ve been nominated. There are many wonderful political moms on there, including many of my MOMocrat pals and others, but showing well in this contest would definitely help promote and sell the book (I’m thinking college fund here, folks!).
Click here to pop over to Circle of Moms, and just click the ‘thumbs up’ icon. I know theses contests usually don’t mean a lot, but in this instance, given the timing of the book release, it would be a great help!
You can vote once a day between now and June 13. And, of course, you would have my eternal gratitude! And I promise next time I see you, I’ll have my Sharpie ready in case you want me to sign your copy of Mothers of Intention!
