As part of my ongoing duties over at iVillage iVote during the 2012 election, I get to be part of some amazing video conversations, like this one with iVillage Chief Correspondent Kelly Wallace and author/activist Gloria Feldt. We had a great time dishing about why there aren’t more women running for political office. Lots of experts say it’s because women lack ambition. I never believed that, and Gloria writes about that topic in her book No Excuses: 9 Ways Women Can Change How We Think About Power, and says a lack of ambition has nothing to do with it.
What would make you run for office? And what holds you back?
