It’s hard not to get caught up in the whirlwind of the election cycle and the impending Super Tuesday contests. But when I need a little break, I go looking for something to read that will get me centered again, and not so focused on politics. Here are a few of my must-reads this week:
Kristen Howerton ar Rage Against the Minivan weighs in on how we as a society struggle with the issue of race, even when we think we have it figured out.
Think you have your mind made up about the political hot potato of late term abortions? Katie Granju encourages you to think again at Babble Voices.
Parents get divorced all the time. So why do movies insist on “happy” endings? Jessica at Sassafrass takes on that topic this week.
And a lot of the contributors at The Broad Side had some excellent posts this week on sustainable agriculture, how women and girls use language, women scientists and more!
What was your favorite read this week?
