PunditMom’s Wednesday Quick Hits — SEC vs. Congress

Moms & Politics

As if the financial world hasn’t already been rocked to its core, now we are dealing with a $50 billion Ponzi scheme. Conveniently, Congress is pointing the finger at the SEC staff and SEC big-wigs are calling for an internal investigation. I hate to break it to them, but Congress members and SEC Commissioners only need to look in their own mirrors to figure out who’s really responsible for this mess. As a former SEC-er, I hate to say I told you so, but …

“Blago” is just hangin’ loose.

I thought it was the MRA contrast that was making me queasy. Now, I think it’s just George W. Bush’s “farewell” revisionist tour.

We say American don’t like political nobility, but maybe we can’t help ourselves.

At least Time Magazine didn’t pick Sarah Palin for Person of the Year!

I’m so annoyed at Barbara Walters. Last year she picked BILL Clinton over Hillary in her fascinating people special. Then she picked Obama and Sarah this year.

Did Hillary piss off Barbara at a dinner party?

I nominated Kate Gosselin as Time’s Person of the Year and it brought all the crazies to my blog. (Crazies brought good page views: )
